Paolo Lardizzone

ABOUT

Paolo Lardizzone was born in Italy, in Militello in Val di Catania in Sicily. Hes one of the winners of the 2012 Great Voices International Competition of the Salzburg Oper Im Berg Festival (Austria), as well as of the "Pia Tebaldini" International Competition of Brescia in
Italy.

In 2005 he began studying lyrical singing in Tolentino (Mc) in Italy with the mezzo-soprano Alessia Albani then with Maestro Giacomo Rocchetti. He then perfected his technique with Maestro Nazzareno Antinori at the "Beniamino Gigli" Academy in Recanati (Mc) and with Maestro Giorgio Marighi in Jesi (An). In 2013 he was chosen to take part in the Masterclass of the great Maestro Renato Bruson
at the Experimental Opera Theater of Spoleto, in Italy. In 2007 he made his debut in Italy in the role of Manrico in G. Verdi's "Il trovatore" for the Castello Sforzesco Festival in Milan and then in the role of the Duke of Mantua in G. Verdi's "Rigoletto".

From 2007 to 2012 he played many roles but was in 2013 that he began his career internationally singing in many opera houses and international festivals, especially in Eastern Europe and Asia. More
