"Rite" is a fresh, new look at the Stravinsky piece, with a twist! The subtitle,"HUMANITY: THE ART OF BEING HUMAN" (the imbalance and imperfections of our world impact humanity and EVERY soul) suggest the decay of our society through technology, making everyone "an island unto themselves". This piece was conceived and directed by choreographer Laura Norman Tyson, Artistic Director of Oklahoma Performing Arts in Tulsa; produced by OPA and No Bos Studios; performed by dancers Annarose Atamian, Charleigh Hayes and Parker Hayes to the music of the ballet, "The Rite of Spring" by Igor Stravinsky, transcribed by Sam Raphling for solo piano and performed by Dickran Atamian on RCA Red Seal, produced by John Pfeiffer (World Premiere) (later released on Delos International).  This production is available for live engagement.
